Security Service Technician

Since 1984, Galaxy Integrated Technologies has been designing and installing state‑of‑the‑art security systems for a variety of commercial, government, education and health care properties across New England, New York, and New Jersey.

We are seeking an experienced Security Service Technician that possesses hands‑on experience in providing service to access control, nurse call, intercoms, public announcement, network, cabling, door hardware and CCTV systems, is comfortable working in the field, and knows how to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

• Install, program, troubleshoot and service low‑voltage security systems.
• Work with platforms including Lenel, S2, Axis, Motorola, Avigilon, DMP Securecare, Ascom, Tektone, CCure, Genetech and others.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues on demand.
• Assure proper alarm monitoring setup and integration.
• Maintain a clean, professional work appearance and strong customer communication.
• Collaborate with service manager, project managers and field teams to address customer service requests on demand.

• 5+ years of field experience with access control, CCTV, door hardware, low‑voltage electronic systems, IP cameras, intercoms, nurse call, etc.
• Proficiency with Lenel, S2, CCure, Axis, Genetec, Brivo, Motorola, Avigilon, and burglary alarm systems.
• Certifications is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
• Customer‑first mindset and professional demeanor.

Pay range for current technicians is $48-58 per hour, based on experience level.
