Transportation Manager

Our client is privately owned company with a new plant in northern MA. Due to growth, seeking a  _Transportation Manager_  to lead the Transportation Dept. Primary duties/responsibilities include:

+ Recruit, train, coach, and manage transportation staff, driving performance, accountability, safety compliance, and operational excellence.

+ Oversee fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, leasing, fuel, payroll, and transportation budgets to maximize efficiency and control costs.

+ Develop driver schedules, monitored productivity, enforced company policies, and achieved service, quality, and profitability objectives.

+ Ensure compliance with OSHA, labor regulations, and safety standards while maintaining accurate records and promptly resolving incidents.

+ Build strong customer relationships, resolved transportation issues, collaborated across departments, and implemented continuous process improvements.

Position reports to General Manager.

Ideal candidates for  _Transportation Manager_  will possess the following:

+ Associates degree (ideal minimum)

+ 5+ years experience in transportation management

+ Must possess active CDL License

+ Understanding DOT regulations

Salary up to $105k/yr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, FSA.

** Pay Details:**  $90,000.00 to $ per year
