Compensation and Schedule
:
Starting rate $21.24 per hour, with a night shift premium of $2. Work 12‑hour shifts on a 2‑2‑3 schedule, either 7:30AM‑7:30PM or 7:30PM‑7:30AM. Paid benefits include 13 holidays, vacation and personal time, medical, dental and vision insurance from Day1, HSA contributions, 401(k) match up to 6%, parental leave and adoption assistance, home and auto discounts, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, pet insurance, tuition reimbursement and scholarships.
Responsibilities
- Monitor plastic extrusion or stranding lines to ensure high‑quality, timely cable production.
- Perform machine startups, changeovers, and preventative maintenance.
- Execute measurement checks to meet quality standards.
- Report production issues and equipment concerns proactively.
- Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1‑2 years of experience in manufacturing and/or warehouse roles within the last 7 years.
- Ability to pass a skills test, background check and drug screening.
- Visual ability to distinguish 12 basic colors.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and manually roll reels up to 800lbs (with or without accommodation).
- Comfortable working 12‑hour shifts and performing physical tasks such as stooping, bending, standing and sitting.
- Preferred: proficiency in basic calculations and measurement tools (calipers, tape measures, thickness gauges).
- Full range of motion in shoulders, arms, hands and fingers.
