STRHS‑Lawrenceburg is a 99‑bed acute‑care facility located in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, serving Southern Middle Tennessee since 1974.

• As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provide direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Under the direction of an RN or Med‑Surge Charge Nurse, contribute to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.
• Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication; document patient care given.
• Assist RN with development of plan of care.
• Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient’s status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families.
• Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• Current Tennessee or compact state LPN license and completion of a Practical Nursing Program.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 7 days of hire.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision; able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• One year of previous experience preferred.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for the State of Tennessee.
• Graduate of a Practical Nursing program.
