Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – First Choice Health Clinic (Full-Time | Days)

We are part of Southern Tennessee Regional Health System – Lawrenceburg, a community hospital dedicated to providing quality care.

• As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provide direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care.
• May administer medication.
• Document patient care given.
• Assist RN with development of plan of care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.
• Schedule appointments and procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Obtain insurance re‑authorizations as requested for testing and scheduled procedures.

• Current Tennessee or compact state LPN license; graduate of a Practical Nursing program.
• Certifications:
  
  AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 7 days of hire.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, and to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• One‑year previous experience preferred.
• Licenses: LPN License for the State of Tennessee.
• Education:
  
  Graduate of a Practical Nursing program.
