Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – First Choice Health Clinic

Job Type: Full-Time | Days

We are looking for a Clinic LPN to provide exceptional patient care in our community health setting. You will work under the supervision and delegation of a registered nurse.

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care.
• May administer medication.
• Document patient care given.
• Assist RN with development of plan of care.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families.
• Advocate for patient’s physical and emotional well‑being.
• Schedule appointments and procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Obtain insurance re‑authorizations for testing and scheduled procedures.

• Current Tennessee or compact state LPN license and graduate of a Practical Nursing program.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 7 days of hire.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• One year of previous experience preferred.
• Graduate of a Practical Nursing program.
