Job SummaryStreet Wise Georgia is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Data Entry Assistant to help ensure our records are accurate and well organized. This part‑time role involves entering and maintaining data that supports our programs and services. The ideal candidate is precise, organized, and excited to contribute to Street Wise Georgia's mission of equipping and empowering individuals and families toward stability and self‑sufficiency.
By keeping our data accurate and up to date, you’ll play an important part in helping us serve neighbors in need with compassion and excellence.
This position requires travel to assigned Street Wise locations.
Responsibilities- Accurately enter and update data in internal databases and spreadsheets.
- Verify data for accuracy and completeness against source documents.
- Help maintain organized digital and physical records.
- Support routine data‑related tasks and special projects.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors about progress or issues.
- Work Schedule: Part‑time, approximately 10 hours per week. Flexible scheduling available to accommodate academic commitments.
- Must have Federal Work Study award.
- Must be enrolled a minimum of 6 credits at Georgia Gwinnett College.
- Must be in good academic standing and maintain good academic standing for the duration of employment.
- Must be in good conduct standing with Georgia Gwinnett College and maintain good conduct for the duration of employment.
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a team‑focused environment.
- Prior data entry or office experience and strong typing skills (40+ WPM) are a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work sites as required by the position.
