The Role

As a Front Desk Agent at Unicoi State Park & Lodge, you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience. From warm check-ins to thoughtful assistance throughout their stay, you’ll help create memorable moments for visitors exploring the beauty of the North Georgia mountains. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people, thrives in a dynamic environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.

What

You’ll Do
  • Greet guests with genuine hospitality and guide them through smooth check-in and check-out experiences.
  • Manage room assignments and accommodate special requests whenever possible.
  • Handle phone inquiries, reservations, cancellations, and walk-ins with confidence and professionalism.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the property, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
  • Follow established cash-handling, credit, and rate policies with accuracy.
  • Stay knowledgeable about room types, locations, and selling strategies to support occupancy goals.
  • Uphold grooming standards, safety procedures, and Lodge policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, supportive work environment.
  • Adapt to a flexible schedule that supports our 24/7 lodge operations.
  • Assist management with reasonable requests to ensure smooth daily operations.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • 6–12 months in hospitality or customer service preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to understand and follow written instructions.
  • Comfort with basic math and the ability to interpret data accurately.
  • Problem-solving skills and a calm, professional demeanor.
  • Familiarity with computers and point-of-sale systems.
  • A team‑oriented mindset and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
  • Flexibility to adjust to business demands and varying schedules.
