Client Services Assistant
Street Wise Georgia is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Client Services Assistant to support the daily operations of our client intake and appointment scheduling process. This part-time role is responsible for handling incoming calls, scheduling appointments for food distribution and services, and assisting with administrative duties. The ideal candidate is organized, service-oriented, and aligned with Street Wise Georgia's mission to help families achieve self-sufficiency.
This position requires travel to assigned Street Wise locations.
Answer incoming phone calls from clients in a professional, respectful, and empathetic manner. Phone coverage is 10:15 a.m.
- 2:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments for food distribution and other services using internal scheduling systems. Provide accurate and timely information to clients regarding program requirements and availability. Maintain detailed call records and appointment logs. Enter and update client information in the database accurately and promptly. Assist with preparation of reports and summaries related to client appointments.
Maintain organized files (physical and/or digital) for tracking service usage and communications. Communicate regularly with the Client Services Coordinator and team members to stay informed about appointment availability, program changes, and client needs. Support special projects and department initiatives as assigned by the Client Services Coordinator. Provide assistance during seasonal programs, special events, or client outreach efforts. Step in for front desk or general administrative support when needed.
Must have Federal Work Study award Must be enrolled a minimum of 6 credits at Georgia Gwinnett College Must be in good academic standing and maintain good academic standing for the duration of employment. Must be in good conduct standing with Georgia Gwinnett College and maintain good conduct for the duration of employment. Minimum of 1-year experience in customer service, office administration, or call center preferred.
Excellent verbal communication and listening skills. Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry capabilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); database or scheduling system experience is a plus. Must be dependable, compassionate, and aligned with the values of Street Wise Georgia. Must have reliable transportation to and from work sites as required by the position.
