• Preschool Teachers should have knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
• Preschool Teachers should have previous teaching or assistant teaching experience from an early childhood program.
• Preschool Teachers must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
• Minimum 2 years of childcare experience.
• Minimum educational requirement of a CDA, degree preferred.
• Must be competent, have good listening skills, and be able to work harmoniously with all children and staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

• Preschool Teachers are responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
• Preschool Teacher will implement curriculum and adhere to the daily classroom schedule and procedures.
• Preschool Teacher must maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
• Preschool Teacher will provide positive verbal recognition and feedback to all students.
• Preschool teacher will always be clear and consistent while maintaining expectations for learning and behavior.
• Preschool Teacher will conduct assessments of each child and monitor developmental achievements.
• Preschool Teacher accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas, and playgrounds.
• All teachers will attend all required staff meetings, maintain required training hours, attend workshops and school functions.

• Candiates must have at least 2 years of teaching experience.

Compensation: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
