Seven Oaks Academy is a privately owned and operated preschool with a dynamic history of serving our local community in Lilburn, GA since 1988. Our core values which we hire, train, retain and assess our team needs include:

We are interviewing for a Montessori Teacher. A minimum of 1 year of Montessori experience is preferred and the minimum education requirement for a is a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent PSC certification AND Montessori Certification.

The general duties of the Montessori Teacher shall include, but shall not be necessarily limited to, the following:
- Maintain Environment and Records – Prepare an environment in which the furnishings and materials are complete and correspond to the needs of the group; be responsible for the care and maintenance of classroom materials, keeping it orderly, clean, and in like‑new condition; maintain inventory of the classroom; maintain current attendance records; complete, maintain and submit academic records and other reports during the year as requested by the Principal;
communicate with grace and courtesy. - With parents – Maintain relationships with parents; have ongoing communication with parents in regard to their child’s specific needs; hold at least two conferences yearly with the parents (November and February).
- With classroom assistant(s) – Assist in training Classroom Assistant for one’s own classroom; set aside time weekly to give Assistant opportunity to share questions and observations and to mentor the assistant; supervise the Assistant and Special Instructors who deal with children in the group, and participate in curriculum development and implementation.
- With colleagues – Attend staff meetings, parent meetings and any special meetings requested by the Principal including all admissions/family events; work through conflicts with grace and courtesy.
- Uphold Professional Responsibilities – Attend preplanned, professional in‑school or out‑of‑school workshop yearly approved by the Principal; assist with other projects, programs, and planning as assigned by the Principal relating to the classroom and curriculum; make time available to help explain the School’s distinctive nature to…
