Working under the supervision of the Director of the Student Success Advising Center, the Senior Student Success Advisor will collaborate with Student Success leadership, faculty, staff, and students to design and deliver group‑based and individual outreach, programming, and services to enhance student success. The senior student success advisor will also provide individual advisement to new and prospective students and support the director in training student success advisors.

• Collaborate with Student Success leadership and campus partners to develop, implement, and assess programs related to academic recovery, first‑generation student support, and peer mentoring as well as other programs and initiatives to support student success.
• Facilitate student success workshops.

• Provide holistic advising to current and prospective students, including support in understanding degree requirements, accessing campus resources, and setting academic and personal goals.

• Serve as the liaison between the Student Success Advising Center and the academic departments to ensure advisors are sharing accurate information about academic programs.
• Participate in campus events including but not limited to orientation, preview days, and welcome events.

• Assist the director in training new student success advisors.
• Mentor other student success advisors.
• Work with SSAC leadership to review and update training materials, SSAC website, and other advising resources.

• Other duties as assigned.

• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree
• At least three years of college academic advising experience
• Master's Degree in a related field
• Experience with BANNER
• Experience advising at Georgia Gwinnett College
