Part‑time faculty positions are semester‑based and report directly to the Department Chair. Coursework may be delivered face‑to‑face, online, hybrid or blended. Positions are on an as‑needed basis and include course preparation, class instruction, grading, and individual student interaction.
A minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline is required.
- Terminal degree in the teaching discipline
- 1 year of college‑level teaching
- Sustained professional engagement that demonstrates relevance and currency in the field of teaching
Strong commitment to undergraduate education, student engagement, and service to the college and community. GGC values innovative teaching, advising, and mentoring; all faculty are expected to advise and mentor students.
