Job Summary

Georgia Gwinnett College is now accepting applications for part‑time faculty positions in Criminal Justice/Criminology for the academic year 2026‑2027. Positions are semester‑based, may be taught in the fall, spring, or summer, and are conducted in face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, or blended formats.

Responsibilities
  • Develop course curricula, including syllabus, lesson plans, and graded assignments, in accordance with upper‑division program requirements and in consultation with the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs.
  • Review, evaluate, and recommend student learning materials.
  • Evaluate students to measure progress toward institutional and course goals.
  • Submit required paperwork related to instruction in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Required Qualifications

    A minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Terminal degree in the teaching discipline.
    • One year of college‑level teaching experience.
    • Sustained professional engagement demonstrating relevance and currency in the field of teaching.
