Seeking Full-Time Certified English Teacher for

Starting Salary: $59,149/year + Additional Compensation for higher certification levels

Schedule: M-F 8-5pm

Location: Devereux Georgia Grace's Place, a 24-bed child caring institution for victimized youths aged 12-17.

This role involves teaching assigned clients within a structured classroom environment to promote intellectual, emotional, and social growth.

• Develop and implement a structured classroom environment that promotes intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
• Plan and implement instructional programs for clients with emotional and behavioral disorders.
• Deliver educational instruction and services in accordance with GA Dept. of Education and each student's Individual Education Program (IEP).
• Adhere to Gwinnett County curriculum and Georgia Standards of Excellence.
• Work additional days during Fall and Winter Breaks and 15 days during May/June for Summer Enrichment.
• Report to work during inclement weather, with safety considerations.

• Initial new hire paid training: 2 weeks M-F, 8:30‑5:30p located in Kennesaw, GA.
• Post‑training:
  School located in Lawrenceville, M-F 8‑5p.

• Must be 21+.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
• Georgia Teaching certification:
  English (6‑12) and Special Education (SPED) preferred.
• Two (2) years teaching experience preferred.
