Part-Time Faculty Positions in Elementary Education
Georgia Gwinnett College is now accepting applications for part-time faculty positions in Elementary Education in the School of Education for the academic year ). The posting will remain active for AY26-27 hiring (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Part-Time faculty positions are semester-based positions and report directly to the Department Chair. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face-to-face, online, hybrid and/or blended formats.
These positions are on an as-needed basis. Positions require additional time outside of class to provide written feedback to students and to meet individually with students throughout the semester. Part-Time faculty may teach in the fall, spring, and/or summer semesters. Classes at Georgia Gwinnett College are offered morning, afternoon and evening including weekends.
Responsibilities include developing course curricula, reviewing and evaluating student learning materials, evaluating students, and timely submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
Required qualifications include a minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline. Preferred qualifications include a terminal degree in the teaching discipline, one-year college-level teaching, and sustained professional engagement that demonstrates relevance and currency in the field of teaching.
