What You’ll Do

As an Assistant Teacher, you will work alongside experienced educators to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.

Your day may include:

  • Supporting daily lesson plans and classroom activities
  • Creating a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
  • Engaging children in age-appropriate learning and play
  • Building positive relationships with children and families
  • Communicating professionally with parents, teachers, and school leadership
  • Helping document and communicate children's progress
  • Responding with patience and empathy to children's individual needs
  • Maintaining appropriate classroom expectations and routines
  • Using technology to document children's development and progress
  • Bringing creativity, energy, and enthusiasm to the classroom
  • Supporting your teaching team and contributing to a positive school culture

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Compensation

$14.65–$18.58 per hour

Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives and other benefits.
