Job SummaryGeorgia Gwinnett College is now accepting applications for part-time faculty positions in Music in the School of Liberal Arts for the academic year ). The posting will remain active for AY25-26 hiring (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Part-Time faculty positions are semester-based and may include teaching in face-to-face, online, hybrid, and/or blended formats. These positions are on an as-needed basis and may require time outside of class for feedback and meetings with students.
Classes are offered in the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
A minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications- Terminal degree in the teaching discipline
- 1-year college-level teaching
- Sustained professional engagement that demonstrates relevance and currency in the field of teaching
Strong commitment to undergraduate education, student engagement, and service to the college and community. GGC values innovative teaching, advising, and mentoring; advising and mentoring are expected of all faculty.
