This job is a part-time, non-benefited FLSA Exempt position in the Economic Development Division that reports to the International Education Director.

Schedule:

Monday & Wednesday OR Tuesday & Thursday, 9:00am-12:00pm or 6:00pm- 9:00p or a combination schedule.

Minimum Qualifications (Job Code 10317):
Prior Teaching or training experience

Preferred Qualifications :
Adult or K-12 educational background, in English;
Cross-cultural and/or secondary language acquisition skills;
Ability to accommodate different learning styles with sensitivity to diverse cultures in a student-centered, task-based classroom;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Strong interpersonal skills;
Creativity and enthusiasm in providing an environment conducive to learning.

Job Description:

Under general supervision instruction of English as a Second Language for non-credit courses at a technical college. Evaluates students' progress in attaining goals and objectives. Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports. Attends in-service training and workshops. Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the training area.
