This job is a full time, benefited FLSA Exempt/Professional position in the Computer Sciences Division that reports to the Dean of Computer Sciences.

Salary :
Commensurate with education & experience, not to exceed $74,880/yr

Minimum Qualifications (Job Code 80038):
Bachelor’s degree in field and 18 graduate hours in field; OR Master’s degree in field. A minimum of two years of relevant work experience.

Must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate credentialing bodies for the course assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

Applicable languages and technical knowledge:
Object-oriented programming (Java, C#, Python, C++), Database design and SQL, Software engineering principles, Advanced software development concepts, Mobile application development trends, Git Hub Prior  teaching experience in a post-secondary or technical education setting required, including experience with curricular design and development, student evaluation, and outcome assessment. Must have administrative experience, preferably as a Program Director or Academic Coordinator of Information Technology.

Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and machine learning applications, Agile and Dev Ops practices, Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs), Cloud computing fundamentals, and Project Management. Prior experience with accreditation preferred.

Experience with online learning modalities preferred. Knowledge of principles and techniques of educational methods, proficiency in preparation and delivery of instruction, curriculum design, and communication, strong computer skills, human resource management skills, knowledge of contemporary curricular content and standards of practice, industry awareness, and knowledge of accreditation practices.

Summary:

Under general supervision, serve as program director and perform duties which include curriculum design and development; instruction, recruitment, and advisement of students; budgeting; and management of adjunct faculty. Responsible for the ongoing development, implementation and instruction of the Computer Programming program. The program director will be responsible for teaching a minimum of 15 to 20 credit hours of day or evening instructional courses per semester (not including internships).Duties/Responsibilities
