We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Financial Data Analyst to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to bring your specialized skill set to a thriving manufacturing company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our financial planning and decision-making processes, using their analytical skills to provide insights and recommendations based on the analysis of complex data sets.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain financial data models to support strategic planning and forecasting.
- Analyze financial data to identify variances, trends, and anomalies, making recommendations to optimize financial performance and reduce financial risk.
- Use Power BI to create interactive dashboards and reports to present financial data in a clear and compelling way.
- Ensure data quality management by implementing procedures to review, validate and clean financial data.
- Use MS Dynamics to manage financial data and support financial operations.
- Create and manage pivot tables to analyze large data sets, providing insights into financial performance and trends.
- Manage intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of financial data.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment of financial data analysis with business objectives and strategies.
- Continuously analyze and evaluate processes and systems to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial data analysis role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven expertise in data modeling, variance analysis, Power BI, data quality management, MS Dynamics, pivot tables, and intercompany transactions.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and provide insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data in a clear and compelling way.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with others to achieve common goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
