Job Summary

Top rated women's imaging company in Lawrenceville is seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures to assist in accurate diagnosis and patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and physiology, along with excellent patient communication skills.

The MRI Technologist will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure precise imaging results while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Duties
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process, ensuring patient comfort, and positioning them correctly for optimal imaging results.
  • Operate MRI equipment to capture detailed images of internal body structures, adhering to established protocols.
  • Perform specialized scans, including CT, DEXA scans, and sonography as needed to support comprehensive diagnostic evaluation.
  • Maintain strict aseptic technique and follow infection control procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Review images for quality assurance and collaborate with radiologists or physicians to interpret findings accurately.
  • Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, equipment maintenance, and patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Assist in the calibration and troubleshooting of MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques through ongoing professional development.
Skills
  • Proficiency in MRI operations, along with experience in CT, DEXA scans, and sonography, is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging.
  • Ability to apply aseptic techniques diligently to prevent infections during procedures.
  • Excellent understanding of medical imaging principles and diagnostic evaluation processes.
  • Effective communication skills for explaining procedures to patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.
  • Attention to detail in capturing high-quality images that meet diagnostic standards.
