Summit Spine and Joint Centers (SSJC) is a rapidly growing, multi‑state Interventional Pain Management group practice providing integrated clinical, surgical, and imaging services. With clinic locations across Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee, our care teams include Integrated Pain Solutions in North Carolina and Savannah Pain Management in Georgia, all operating as part of the SSJC organization. We are seeking motivated, qualified professionals to join us in delivering exceptional care across our growing network.
As an ASC Assistant, you will assist Ambulatory Surgery Centers with administrative prep work, collaborate with the ASC teams, and support operational capacity. We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, strong problem‑solving abilities, and the capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced practice. The role offers an opportunity to learn organization policies and procedures in support of the department and to gain firsthand experience with an outpatient clinic.
This is a full‑time position at Summit Spine & Joint Centers that reports to the ACS Director and Nurse Manager. The primary locations for this role will be for region 1, 3, 4 & 12 ASC clinic locations (see below) and may change based on coverage and business needs.
Operating Schedules- Region 1 – Lawrenceville (ASC):
Monday – Friday 8am‑5pm - Region 3 – Braselton (ASC):
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8am‑5pm - Region 4 – Cumming (ASC):
Monday – Friday 8am‑5pm - Region 12 – Athens (ASC):
Monday – Friday 8am‑5pm
- Understand the aspects of the Surgery department while working directly with the ASC teams to ensure operational capacity.
- Assist in inventory management of surgical supplies, including specialty kits.
- Learn and perform sterilization techniques for surgical equipment.
- Perform various other ASC functions and projects as necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus on science.
- Scrub experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
- Ability to work in an environment involving human bodily fluids, including blood.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in an office environment preferred.
