• Monitors patient schedule throughout the day for biopsy, MR Breast, and other specified procedures being scheduled at several locations.
• Obtains all required documents, orders, and images as soon as possible for radiologist preview of the case and/or comparison of previous cases.
• Works collaboratively with referring physician’s office to obtain all documentation and arrange courier as needed.
• Assures radiologist previews cases in a timely manner and conveys results to appropriate modality and clerical area for accurate order entry.
• Communicates directly with scheduling to modify scheduled modalities or appointment to meet protocols.
• Maintains 30‑day hold for procedures, pathology results, and upcoming surgical cases.

• One (1) year previous medical‑related clerical or related experience or an associate’s degree.

• Three (3) years previous experience in admissions or a scheduling environment.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in computerized input of data.
• Good communication skills.
• Fundamental knowledge and skill in utilization of computer application.
• Level of proficiency in the use and application of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) varies by department, see requisition for requirements.
