Job Description
The Oracle Cloud Reporting Analyst will design, develop, and maintain Oracle Cloud reports and dashboards using OTBI, BI Publisher, and Financial Reporting Studio (FRS) to support business needs. The role collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into actionable reporting solutions, ensure data accuracy and integrity, troubleshoot issues, and optimize reports for performance and usability.
Essential Duties- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Cloud reports and dashboards.
- Create and manage complex data models, ad-hoc queries, and visualizations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and translate reporting requirements.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
- Optimize reports for performance, accuracy, usability, and consistency.
- Translate complex findings into clear reports and presentations.
- Configure, manage, and support reporting environments, ensuring data integrity, security, and governance compliance.
- Perform audits, validations, and troubleshooting to maintain data accuracy.
- Manage report scheduling, distribution, and access controls.
- Document reports comprehensively: technical specifications, data sources, business logic, user guides.
- Present reporting insights, trends, and key findings to stakeholders.
- Explain solutions and technical details in simple terms during meetings, demos, and discussions.
- Lead workshops and review sessions to align solutions with stakeholder needs.
Job Requirements / Information
- This is a civilian position tied to public safety; a background check including motor vehicle and criminal histories and fingerprinting may be required.
- Potential on‑call rotation and emergency work after hours, weekends, and/or holidays.
Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Three years of progressively responsible, professional analyst and systems experience in a large-scale IT environment.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties.
- Valid driver's license from the state of residency.
