Job Description & How to Apply Below

Are you a Spanish-speaking Litigation Paralegal looking for a better work-life balance? This Gwinnett-based firm is seeking a detail-oriented professional to transition into the rewarding field of Probate and Estate Planning. They offer a structured, low-stress environment where you can help families navigate the legal system without the "burnout" of high-volume litigation.
No more trial deadlines—just meaningful, procedural work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Probate Administration: Draft and file petitions with Georgia Probate Courts, manage estate inventories, and coordinate the distribution of assets.
  • Estate Planning Support: Assist in the preparation of Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney, ensuring every detail reflects the client’s specific wishes.
  • Case Management: Maintain organized digital and physical files, ensuring that deadlines are met with precision and thoughtfulness rather than frantic urgency.
  • Client Advocacy: Serve as the primary, empathetic point of contact for Spanish- and English-speaking families, translating complex legal concepts into understandable, comforting guidance.
  • Team

    Collaboration:

Work closely with our attorneys and staff in a supportive environment where "asking for help" is seen as a strength, not a weakness.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Fluency in Spanish: Must be able to conduct client meetings and explain legal documents in Spanish and English.
  • Legal

    Experience:

2+ years as a Paralegal in Georgia (Probate, Litigation, Family Law, or Personal Injury).
  • Georgia Procedures: Familiarity with Georgia court filing systems (e-filing/Peach Court).
  • Exceptional Empathy: A genuine desire to help people and a "thoughtful" approach to communication.
  • Detail Orientation: Ability to catch the small things that make a big difference for our clients’ peace of mind.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Case Management Software (Clio, MyCase, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Education: Paralegal Certificate or relevant work experience required.
Why You’ll Love Working
  • Work-Life Harmony: We believe you do your best work when you have time for a life outside of it. No "fire drills" or late-night litigation grinds.
  • Local Impact: Opportunity to make a tangible, positive impact on families in our community every single day.
  • Professional Growth: We invest in your training to help you become a master of Georgia probate and estate planning.
