Parts Clerk + Shop Administrator

Part-time to start through 2026, transitions to full-time in 2027 $ 25/hr 20-25 hours per week About the Role

Phyxius is hiring a Parts Clerk + Shop Administrator to assist with inventory management and provide administrative support to the Director of Maintenance and team of mechanics at our MRO s role will work closely with the DOM and the Operations Manager to ensure equipment and parts inventory is tracked, all shipments in and out of the shop are handled, and shop operations are recorded and reported, all in strict compliance with aviation regulations.

• Receiving Inspection :
  Inspect incoming aircraft parts, components, hardware, and raw materials for shipping damage, correct quantities, and proper documentation.
• Traceability Management :
  Maintain traceability from receipt to installation, ensuring accurate serialized tracking and precise record-keeping.
• Storage Control :
  Organize and label inventory according to industry and company standards; conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Shelf-Life Monitoring :
  Identify, track and report sensitive materials (such as sealants, adhesives, O-rings, and life-limited components) prior to expiration
• Tool & Equipment Control :
  Manage all tools and equipment, including tracking calibration and reporting expired tools

• Work Order Administration :
  Assist DOM in opening, updating, tracking material costs against, and closing out repair/maintenance work orders in MRO software.
• Purchasing & Sourcing :
  Create purchase orders for depleted inventory, shop supplies and specialized tooling; source parts through approved aviation vendors.
• Core Return Management :
  Coordinate the timely return of repairable cores to OEMs or overhaul facilities, tracking core credits and exchange fees.
• Shipping Logistics :
  Prepare, pack, label, and document outgoing shipments, adhering strictly to hazardous materials (Haz Mat) regulations for items like batteries, oxygen bottles, or chemical agents.
• Vendor & Record Keeping :
  Maintain up-to-date vendor files, handle warranty claims, archive historical maintenance records, and generate regular material shortage reports.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of work experience in inventory, warehouse logistics, or parts clerk roles, with at least 1 year within an MRO, airline, or repair station environment.
• Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience using aviation MRO software (e.g., Quantum, EBIS/Veryon, Corridor, or similar), proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate standard warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, ladders).
• Location: Ability to work on-site at KLZU, with valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Employment Authorization: Authorization to work in the US; ability to pass FAA pre-employment drug screening
• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; proficiency in reading and writing English and technical information
• Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a can-do attitude

• Experience or familiarity with turboprops and light jets, particularly King Air, Cessna Citation, Piaggio aircraft
• Experience with Quickbooks Online (or equivalent accounting software) and basic bookkeeping
• Experience with Hupspot (or equivalent CRM softwares)

• Hourly base salary of $25/hour to start in 2026, with End of Year performance review and opportunity to transition to full-time (with insurance, PTO, and 401K options) in 2027
