Construction / Project Manager 2 – Houston, TX (Onsite)
Full-Time | Onsite | No Relocation Assistance | No Visa Sponsorship
We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Construction / Project Manager to support large capital projects within a critical facilities environment in Houston, Texas.
This role functions as a key member of a Design and Construction management team and is responsible for overseeing new construction, renovations, and MEP infrastructure projects from planning through execution.
Position Responsibilities- Plan, direct, and coordinate capital construction projects
- Develop and manage project schedules and ensure execution aligns with approved plans
- Review contractual scope of work and assess impacts of field directives or scheduling changes
- Generate cost estimates, prepare proposals, and negotiate change orders
- Monitor financial performance and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
- Lead job progress meetings and coordinate with consultants, prime contractors, and subcontractors
- Manage subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to specifications
- Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, and client communications
- Serve as liaison between stakeholders, contractors, and leadership
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of Construction/Project Management experience in new construction, renovations, and MEP infrastructure
- Minimum 5 years of management experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations, or engineering services
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe)
- Working knowledge of MS Project, Procore, and Bluebeam
- OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire)
- Ability to work in critical environments and manage ambiguity
