General Manager – High-Volume Fried Chicken QSR
Location: Northeast Georgia (Athens, Gainesville, & surrounding areas)
Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 + Performance Bonuses
In Northeast Georgia, fried chicken isnt just a menu item—its a tradition. We are looking for a General Manager to lead one of the most popular and fastest-growing fried chicken brands in the region. Whether its the Saturday morning tailgate rush or the weekday lunch hustle, we need a leader who can thrive in a high-energy, high-volume environment.
If you are a hands-on operator who knows how to build a "people-first" culture while keeping an eagle eye on the P&L, this is the role for you. We dont just want a manager; we want a "CEO" of the four walls who takes pride in serving the best chicken in NEGA.
The Role:What Youll Do
As the General Manager, you are the heartbeat of the restaurant. You own the guest experience, the teams development, and the stores profitability.
- Lead the Front Lines: Drive a culture of "Speed with a Smile." Youll ensure every guest receives hot, fresh chicken and legendary hospitality.
- Build Your Team: Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse crew. Your success is measured by the growth and retention of your Shift Leads and Assistant Managers.
- Master the Numbers: Take full accountability for the stores P&L. Youll manage labor targets, food waste, and inventory to maximize the bottom line.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain a "Gold Standard" facility. Youll ensure the kitchen is spotless, the equipment is maintained, and the store is always audit-ready.
- Community Connection: Whether its supporting local high school athletics or regional events, youll be the face of the brand in your community.
- Experience: 2+ years of Restaurant General Manager experience in a high-volume QSR or Fast-Casual setting (Fried Chicken experience is a major plus).
- The "Hustle" Factor: You lead from the front. You aren't afraid to bread chicken, work the boards, or jump on the window during a heavy rush.
- Financial Savvy: A strong understanding of prime costs (Labor & COGS) and the ability to execute course corrections based on weekly data.
- Leadership Heart: A passion for coaching and developing local talent. You build teams that people want to work for.
- Local Insight: Familiarity with the Northeast Georgia market and the seasonal rhythms of the region.
- Competitive Pay: Starting base salary of $60,000 – $65,000
. - Performance Bonuses: Quarterly incentives based on hitting key KPIs like Sales Growth, Labor, and Food Cost.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision insurance options.
- Career Path: We are expanding across Georgia—your performance here can lead to multi-unit leadership opportunities.
