We are looking for a night shift (6pm-6am) operator to work in our Thermal Coating department and become an integral part of our team!
Responsibilities:
The machine operator will perform production activities, which require a working knowledge of various chemical processes, operations and machines.
Duties include:
- Set-up and operate multiple machines and equipment for production operations, and may assist lower level workers with these processes.
- Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
- Oversee and monitor to ensure quality and performs verifications and inspections of product.
- Assist in the training of new employees and aid employees with questions regarding work standards.
- Document all department functions daily, by keeping accurate and up-to-date batch records and data sheets on batches in process.
- Perform minor troubleshooting and maintenance to equipment.
Required
High School or better.
ExperienceRequired
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of related experience. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Speaks and understands English. Able to use handheld tools Knowledgeable with measurement tools
Preferred
Basic knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality Management System.
