Machine Operator-TN Process

Shift work hours (start/end time): 2nd Shift (3:00 - 11:30 PM)

A Machine Operator - Process is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment used to make toner. This role ensures machinery runs efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company quality standards, production schedules, and operating procedures. This position plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality processing operations while supporting overall production objectives.

Job Duties:

• Performs production activities that require a minimal knowledge of chemical processes, operations and machines.
• Performs simple repetitive machine operations on assigned machines/equipment. May perform machine or equipment setup under direct supervision with detailed instruction.
• Starts, stops and feeds the machine, and identifies and reports imperfect operations. Speeds, feeds and tooling are ordinarily prescribed.
• Maintains neat and orderly work area in accordance with department standards
• Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
• Weighs, measures and checks raw materials to ensure proper quantities.
• Perform in-process tests to ensure that product meets specifications.
• Maintains logs of completed work.
• Maintains inventory records on raw materials used in batch manufacturing.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• Performs production activities that require a minimal knowledge of chemical processes, operations and machines.
• Some safe handling of hazardous materials and hazardous waste.
• Follows established procedures or instructions from higher level technical personnel to accomplish assigned tasks.

Willing and able to use prescribed safety equipment as issued.

Ability to Speaks and understands English.

Basic computer, math, and mechanical skills.

Basic knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality Management System, ISO 14000 Environmental Management System, and FTZ requirements.

Experience using Holding jigs and fixtures, and vacuum and/or mechanical hoist.

Experience using electronic test and measuring equipment and small hand tools.
