Summit Ridge Hospital
-is a place for Healing and Hope! Our behavioral health psychiatric hospital is in Lawrenceville (about 25 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta). We provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment to adults and seniors, in addition to partial hospitalization and other outpatient programs (includes a location in Athens). On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Summit Ridge Hospital.

Summit Ridge is proud to be a teaching facility that supports local nursing students through our dedicated and tenured nursing team.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced, professional Registered Nurse (RN) with recent behavioral health experience to work FT day shift for 13 weeks. This will be an internal contract hire, not agency. The Registered Nurse (RN) prescribes, delegates, and coordinates the nursing care provided to patients in our care. The ideal candidate must be flexible and cross-trained to float to various units/shifts (including weekends and holidays) as business needs demand.

It is also expected that the Registered Nurse (RN) supervises and directs the nursing care provided by other nursing staff in a positive and courteous manner, communicating effectively to other team members to promote efficient and compassionate continuity of care.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN)

Minimum Qualifications:

Current license to practice nursing in state of Georgia.

Current CPR or BLS certification.
