Position: Stepdown Nurse (RN) in Lawrenceville, GA
A skilled registered nurse is sought for a step-down unit opportunity located in Lawrenceville, GA. This contract position offers night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, every other weekend, including two major and two minor holidays. Candidates with experience administering IV Heparin and holding the required certifications are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team framework. Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate or Diploma required; Bachelor's preferred)
• Current RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and RN licensure
• IV Heparin administration experience
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment and respond calmly to emergencies
• Basic computer proficiency for clinical documentation and technology utilization
