Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Surgery Unit Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience and night shift availability.

Job Details

• Acute Surgery Unit within a hospital setting,

• Patient population includes general surgical, vascular, extensive gynecological, colorectal, and trauma patients,

• IV insertion experience required in practice,

• 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a),

• 24 hours per week (2 shifts per week),

• 13-week contract,

• No on-call requirements,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license - Georgia (GA) or Compact license required,

• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required,

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience,

• IV start experience required,

• Driver's License required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,

• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in employment before being considered,

• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront - requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted,

• First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible; minimum 2 years of experience is required
