• Excellent communication abilities, both with surgical team members and patients
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations

Schedule:

• Hours and shifts will be discussed during the interview process to ensure alignment with facility needs and candidate preference

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare for and assist with surgeries, including instrument and equipment set-up
• Monitor patient status and support anesthesia as needed throughout procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and sterile field protocols
• Document all nursing activities and patient responses in accordance with established policies
• Collaborate with physicians, surgical technologists, and other team members for effective, safe patient care
• Provide patient education and emotional support pre- and post-operatively
