Registered Nurse (RN) – Full‑time Day Shift (Infirmary)

Job Summary: The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and guides patient teaching, clinical care, and ancillary personnel while maintaining standards and ethics of professional nursing in accordance with applicable State Board of Nursing and other accrediting agencies. Provides strong analytical, decision‑making skills and has positive communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Direct and guide patient teaching, clinical care, and ancillary personnel.
- Maintain professional standards and ethics in accordance with state board and accrediting agencies.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from a national or state approved nursing program.
- Hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of employment.
- American Heart Association BLS certified.
- Corrections experience is a plus.
- Preferred:
Associates or better in Nursing.
