06/29/2026 - Work setting: hospital-based GI Lab performing GI and pulmonary procedures
- Provide nursing care in the GI/Endo Lab during GI and pulmonary diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Conduct pre-procedure assessments, monitor patient status, and assist with procedure setup and post-procedure recovery
- Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions; assist with sedation under physician direction; maintain sterile technique
- Monitor vital signs, document care in the electronic medical record, and participate in clear, timely handoffs with the multidisciplinary team
- Ensure equipment readiness, safety, and infection control standards; support the department’s 24-hour patient care responsibilities as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes and safety
- Current RN license in Georgia
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in GI/endoscopy lab or related GI-focused nursing
- BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient/outpatient GI Lab environment
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN degree)
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment and work a 10-hour, 4-day shift schedule
- Guaranteed hours and a defined 13-week travel assignment
