Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit #26-19874

RN-Registered Nurse $1,246 weekly stipends $16/hour $576 weekly base pay Onsite Contract Starts 7/13/2026 12 weeks

Night Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week

Registered Nurse (RN) – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – Travel Assignment

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU
Department: NICU GWP (Job V)
Location: 1000 Medical Center Boulevard, Lawrenceville, GA 30046
Assignment Length: 12 Weeks

Schedule
  • Shift: Nights
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Days: Varies
  • Shift Pattern: 3 x 12-hour shifts
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU experience preferred
  • Experience caring for high-acuity neonatal patients
  • Strong critical care and neonatal assessment skills
Unit Overview
  • Neonatal Intensive Care Unit caring for infants as young as 22 weeks gestation
  • High-acuity patient population requiring advanced neonatal critical care interventions
  • Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment focused on delivering specialized neonatal care
Clinical Experience Preferred

Experience with the following therapies and procedures is highly desirable:

  • Total Body Cooling (Therapeutic Hypothermia)
  • Conventional Mechanical Ventilation
  • Inhaled Nitric Oxide Therapy
  • Vasopressor and Sedation Continuous IV Infusions
  • Central Line Maintenance and Management
  • Advanced Neonatal Critical Care Practices
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates
  • Monitor and assess neonatal patients receiving advanced life-support therapies
  • Administer medications, IV infusions, and respiratory support treatments
  • Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to NICU standards of care

  • Local candidates are not accepted if residing within 50 miles of the facility.
