As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a hands‑on role supporting patients during some of their most important moments of care. You will provide attentive, compassionate assistance with daily needs, help ensure patient safety and comfort, and build positive, trust‑based connections. From observing and reporting changes in patient condition to supporting the care team with day‑to‑day tasks, you will be an essential part of a collaborative environment focused on quality care, respect, and positive patient experiences.
Job Duties / Responsibilities- Provide hands‑on support with basic clinical tasks within your scope of practice, including vital signs, blood pressure checks, specimen collection, and glucose checks.
- Help maintain a safe, calm, and therapeutic environment by keeping the unit organized, conducting regular safety and environmental rounds, and accurately documenting observations.
- Support patients with activities of daily living while using effective, therapeutic communication to encourage healthy routines, confidence, and overall well‑being.
- Encourage and assist patients in participating in therapeutic groups and daily activities, helping create a structured and positive experience throughout their stay.
- Respond calmly and confidently in challenging situations by using crisis management and de‑escalation techniques under the guidance of licensed staff.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Completion of a nursing assistant course, or
- Hold an enrollment in an approved RN, LPN, or EMT program with completion of a nursing fundamentals course or equivalent.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to successfully perform in a fast‑paced work environment.
