Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Operating Room RN Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Operating Room RN to provide specialized surgical nursing care. The ideal candidate will support neuro, ortho, and robotic procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive perioperative care for patients undergoing neuro, ortho, and robotic surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure proper preparation and sterilization of surgical instruments and environment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to intraoperative changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient status in CERNER.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Assist in the sterile setup and breakdown of operating rooms.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of recent OR experience within the specialty.
• Demonstrate expertise in neuro and orthopedic surgeries, with familiarity in robotic procedures.
• Possess current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Be versatile and adaptable to different surgical cases and technologies.
• Exhibit strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Be willing to work Monday through Friday, with scheduled call responsibilities.
