Summit Spine & Joint Centers is seeking an experienced Intrathecal Pump Nurse to support the development and implementation of a centralized Intrathecal Pump Program across Georgia. This position will be responsible for performing pump refills and supporting efforts to standardize the program across participating Georgia locations. The nurse will travel to designated refill locations, provide patient care, and assist in implementing consistent processes throughout the program.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform intrathecal pump refills.
Travel to designated Georgia refill locations to provide patient care.
Complete scheduled pump refills during dedicated refill clinic days.
Support the consolidation of patients geographically within the program.
Assist with standardizing scheduling processes.
Provide triage support for intrathecal pump patients between scheduled visits
Assist with medication ordering processes.
Support documentation standards and workflows.
Assist with inventory management.
Support emergency coverage planning and program operations.
Participate in training and competency validation activities.
Collaborate with physicians, clinic leadership, and staff to support implementation efforts across Georgia locations.
Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience performing intrathecal pump refills.
- Ability to travel between Georgia clinic locations.
- Strong organizational and clinical skills.
Ability to work independently while supporting a growing statewide program.
