Nurse Educator
Part-Time Clinical Nursing Faculty
Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) is seeking candidates for the positions of part-time clinical nursing faculty in the School of Health Sciences. Faculty report to the Dean of Health Sciences and will be responsible for working closely with the program Director and program faculty in the clinical instruction of nursing students. Clinical faculty will be responsible for instruction in the clinical setting simulation laboratory and/or clinical skills practice laboratory.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical instruction 12 hours per week each semester
- Evaluate students in clinical settings and all clinical activities
- Evaluate clinical sites for program evaluation
- Complete all orientation requirements of clinical sites
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing required
- Excellent clinical skills across the life span
- Recent clinical experience
- Current Georgia nursing license in good standing with Georgia Board of Nursing
- Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 year experience in clinical teaching in higher education
