Overview

Registered Nurse – Wound Care (WOC Nurse) in Lawrenceville, GA, starting 10/05/2026 for 13 weeks on a travel - temporary assignment. Earn 1,907 to 1,969 per week with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is 8-hour days (Mon-Fri) in an inpatient care setting. This travel assignment is non-local; note that no local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered. Experience in wound, ostomy, and continence care, plus formal WOC certifications, are required.

• Holidays: must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s) and 1 minor holiday (e.g., day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)

• Deliver specialized wound, ostomy, and continence care for assigned patients, including assessment, plan development, and ongoing evaluation of progress
• Perform wound care procedures and dressings per current standards; manage ostomy care when applicable; coordinate complex care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record; ensure accurate communication with physicians and nursing staff
• Educate patients and families on wound care routines, ostomy care, and discharge planning; provide safety and infection prevention guidance
• Maintain compliance with AHA BLS requirements; uphold infection control practices and quality standards; participate in performance improvement activities
• Collaborate with the wound care team and other specialists to optimize healing, manage complications, and support overall patient recovery

• Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, specialized wound care experience
• CWON or CWOCN certification required; wound care certifications WCC, CWS, or CWCN required; ostomy certification optional
• AHA BLS certification
• Ability to work in an inpatient care setting on a travel assignment
• Must comply with assignment requirements, including the no-local-candidates within 50 miles rule
