American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with recent neuro and ortho surgical experience for a 13-week assignment requiring call and holiday coverage.
Requirements- Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the OR specialty required
- Expertise in neuro and orthopedic surgical cases required
- Robotics experience needed for some cases, versatility across case types expected
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Surgery/OR department position within a hospital setting
- 10-hour day shift schedule with 4 shifts per week, hours may vary starting around
- On-call requirements apply
- Uses Cerner EMR
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
- Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
- RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after offer
