Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring recent specialty experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of recent years of experience within the Med/Surg specialty required

Responsibilities

• Acute Medicine unit for Med/Surg RN care
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, with schedule varying between 7P-7A
• Deferred schedule type
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
• RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer acceptance and cannot be requested after
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates considered
