Hiring Salary Range

Water Resources Trades Associate I – $40,000 – $43,337

Water Resources Trades Associate II – $44,968 – $51,713

Water Resources Trades Associate III – $53,286 – $61,280

This class is responsible for having specialized knowledge in area of assignment, researching problems, providing customer service, and maintaining work reports. This is a field customer service position and duties in this category may include operation of various complex vehicles and equipment and performing associated duties in the construction, repair and maintenance of public utilities, water mains, service lines, fire hydrants, meters and valves.

• Water Resources Trades Associate I:
  Assist with daily maintenance and repair of water distribution and collection lines.
• Water Resources Trades Associate II:
  Have specialized knowledge in area of assignment, research problems, and maintain work reports.
• Water Resources Trades Associate III:
  Serve as a lead to lower staff and be proficient in most areas of assignment; some positions may supervise limited staff or serve as a lead worker in the absence of the supervisor.

• This job is a safety sensitive position that will require a pre‑employment drug test and subsequent random drug and alcohol testing.
• This job may require on‑call rotation and emergency after hours, weekends, and/or holidays.

Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Georgia Commercial Driver's License must be obtained within 12 months of employment.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Two years of related work experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Georgia Commercial Driver's License must be obtained within 12 months of employment.
• Confined Space Certification must be obtained within 6 months.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Four years of related work experience.
• Valid Driver's License from state of residency.
• Georgia Commercial Driver's License must be obtained within 12 months of employment.
• Confined Space Certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.

* An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the jobs listed above will also be considered.
