The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, work well in a team environment, have a high level of customer service and have strong attention to detail.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in repairing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems

Always be available on-hand to assist the head plumber on the jobRead blueprints and drawings to determine exact specifications and where plumbing system will be installed

Determine water supply networks and waste drainage systems

Install systems used to transport water, waste, gases, or liquids

Cut openings in structures in preparation for pipes

Select all materials needed for installation, including type and size of pipe Install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment

Assemble and install valves and fittings

Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing and welding equipment

Install other plumbing equipment, such as sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, air conditioners, appliances, and trim Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle

Observe pressure gauges to fix leaks

Test pipe systems and fix leaks

Ready trenches for pipe lay Clean up job dailyACCOUNTABILITIES Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems

Support troubleshooting and problem-solving on job sites

Follow safety protocols and plumbing codes

Learn and develop technical plumbing skills

Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work areaORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENTThis position reports to the local Plumbing Project Manager and has a responsibility to all of our customers.

Knowledge of common plumbing terminology, fittings, materials, pipes, tools, & equipmen1-3+ years of relevant experience

Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Applications Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred

Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Follow oral and written instructions

Work cooperatively with othersBEHAVIORAL PROFILE Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence.
