Position Summary

As a Project Coordinator, you will oversee the implementation of youth development, mentoring, foster care support, healthy relationship education, and prevention initiatives. You will coordinate program activities, engage youth participants, build partnerships with community stakeholders, support mentors and volunteers, and ensure services are delivered using trauma-informed and survivor-centered practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee youth development and prevention programming across multiple program locations
  • Facilitate healthy relationship education, life skills training, empowerment workshops, and enrichment activities
  • Develop positive, supportive relationships with youth participants and assist with individualized support planning
  • Coordinate mentoring services and monitor participant engagement and progress
  • Collaborate with internal teams and community partners including schools, foster care agencies, residential programs, and other stakeholders
  • Support youth involved in foster care, residential treatment, juvenile justice systems, or those at risk of trafficking and exploitation
  • Facilitate prevention and awareness activities related to healthy relationships, internet safety, and exploitation prevention
  • Recruit, engage, and support volunteers, mentors, and community supporters
  • Maintain accurate participant records, track program outcomes, and monitor performance indicators
  • Assist with grant reporting, data collection requirements, and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies, grant requirements, confidentiality standards, and trauma-informed practices
  • Represent Devereux and the Love Notes Project at community meetings, outreach events, and networking opportunities
  • Participate in required trainings, staff meetings, and professional development activities
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned

EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma required;
    Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Criminal Justice, Public Health, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of three years of experience working with at-risk youth, foster care, residential care, mentoring programs, or prevention-focused initiatives
