Job SummaryAssist in the athletic communications office by publicizing GGC's intercollegiate athletic teams through storytelling on , managing in-game statistics, and developing social media marketing strategies. Interact with student-athletes and coaches during sporting events through photography and game operations.
Responsibilities- Interact with student-athletes during sporting events
- Manage in-game statistics
- Develop social media and marketing strategies
- Light administrative support such as making copies, organizing various documents, and data entry
- Take game-day photos
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Georgia Gwinnett College
- Must be in good academic standing and maintain good academic standing for the duration of employment
- Must be in good conduct standing with the Office of Student Integrity and maintain good conduct for the duration of employment
- Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to apply judgment and discretion in performing confidential personnel matters
- Ability to be highly organized, attentive to details, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- English or Marketing major or interest in the Athletics workforce
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
