Position: CDL A Regional Driver -Dedicated Lanes -Home Weekly

Regional dedicated driver opportunity running a pre-loaded route out of Buford, GA. This is a high value, no touch freight account with an onsite dedicated fleet manager.

The Pay:

$0.65 per mile to start
Average weekly gross of $1,400 to $1,700
2,100 to 2,400 miles per week
$155 metro pay on loads under 200 miles
$25 per stop drop and stop pay, excluding origin and final destination
$30 per hour detention after the first 2 hours
Vacation and holiday pay per company policy

The

Schedule:

Drivers leave out Sunday evening and work through Friday, or leave out Monday evening and work through Saturday
100% no touch freight
All loads pre‑loaded at origin, dispatched through Samsara or phone
Daily check‑in required via Samsara or call in
Night driving required
Trucks stay parked at the distribution center, not taken home
Drivers may also run other regional areas and pick up backhauls

The Route:

Operating area covers the Southeast:
Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida

Time Off:

First come, first served basis
Peak season runs October through January, no time off during this window except emergencies
No deliveries on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day

Requirements:

Must reside within 50 miles of Buford, GA
At least 22 years of age
Active CDL A with 1 year of tractor trailer experience in the past 5 years, or 6 months in the past 24 months
Current DOT medical card
Clean abstract: max 4 moving violations in 3 years (max 2 in the past year), max 3 chargeable accidents in 3 years (max 2 in the past 12 months)
No DUI/alcohol related conviction in the past 10 years
No felony theft conviction in the past 10 years
Stable work history and good references required
